Halloween 2 Trailer

Rob Zombie is back with another dose of bloody violence and gore in the follow up to his 2007 reinvention of the Halloween series.

I’m never to sure if I like Rob Zombie, I think showing too much can make a film seem over the top and takes alot of the tension and scares away. But saying that I did have to leave the cinema during Halloween after the film scared the bejesus out of one of the friends I was there with.

This looks a little more interesting as Rob has a chance to make this series truly his own, getting rid of the hospital setting of the original sequel gives this a stamp of originality and the creepy lady in white gices Micheal a motive for murder that we have never seen befor . I am also loving the new look Micheal Myers who now looks like a crazy drifter.

Howdy folks, the names David, its lovely to meet you. I hope the weather is shinny where ever you are. There are a number of things I love to do with my day, writing here is one, writing for 69 magazine is another as well as delving my nose into a good book, listening to woman sing along to electro beats and playing computer games of all shapes and sizes. The originals are much better. Why does Zombie feel the need to destroy the originals - pointless. H2 looks as bad as the first remake.
  • I was with Blackett when he went to see the first of Rob Zombie's Halloween remakes. I don't think I could have left any faster. I'm a horror veteran and love the genre especially when it is clever and scary at the same time like Saw (first one. Have only seen the first three) but Halloween was just violence for violence sake. Horror is best when there are jumps, kills a plenty and tension throughout but I was more tense during Halloween because I was waiting for something really horrific to turn up. When young Myers batters his sisters boyfriend to death with a baseball bat it was gratuitous beyond all sense and just made me feel physically sick. I've never wanted to cry during a horror before and I didn't enjoy the film as an experience. This looks more of the same sadly. Having said that I'm sure both me and Blackett will be seeing this and hopefully making it the whole film.
