His Dark Materials
A night out at the theatre is always nice and the fact that a local community theatre group were adapting Philip Pullman’s Dark Materials made a YourFace outing a must. We had the best of both worlds in terms of seating with Blackett and Morgan high above the action and being able to see every [...]
Aren’t Choirs Even More Exciting!!
Good day, fair readers, salutations to one and all.
In my last post about ‘All the Small Things’, I made a point about how familiar all the actors are – a multitude of characters who’d been seen in various seasons of ‘Doctor Who’, Sarah Alexander of ‘Green Wing’ and ‘Coupling’ fame, and Richard Fleeshman who, correct [...]
WHO KILLED AMANDA PALMER
oooh, massive excitements this morning – this may be old news to some of you, but i have just discovered a multi-artistic collaboration of 3 of my favourite people.
The whole story is documented at WHOKILLEDAMANDAPALMER.com but here is a mini-history for you
Amanda Palmer (of the Dresden Dolls – google them, youtube them, do everything you [...]
Small does not like Alex Rowley
Today I bought the Leicester Mercury, our local paper – mainly for the job section, but also just to catch up on the small-town journalists opinions on life the universe and everything.

While it was a pretty stupid thing to do, I really couldn’t care any less [...]

I’m glad that there’s an end to this now, as love or loath Jade no-one [...]
Jade Goody is NOT dead yet
Most people will have seen this by now. Oh dear OK! magazine. Poor Jade isn’t actually even dead and you’re making a bundle from her death whilst the poor girl struggles through what is reported to be her final hours. I couldn’t be more disgusted, but not at all shocked that the media which cashed [...]
Romeo and Julian
This has incensed me.
A school in Leytonstone, London has decided to put on a performance of Romeo and Juliet, but in order to coincide with LGBT History Month have reworked the text so it is now Romeo and Julian. Of course an MP has something to say about this. Tory MP Philip Davis has said:
“Anyone [...]
Jade Goody
Its going to be a ponderance this time.
I’m never quite sure what I make of Jade Goody. Although I would not wish what she is going through on anybody I hated her with a passion, yet the Media is manipulating much of my opinion of her. Now I’m confused as to which of my estimations [...]
