Heineken For Both Sexes

I always have a soft spot for Heineken adverts, high production values and a clear constant message tickles that part inside of me that loves a good strong brand image.

This is the latest advert sent over to us from the US of A by our roving reporter TV Kitty and shows both men and women (who apparently do drink beer too) being looked after by the good people of Heineken.

Or could it be considered mildly sexist and part of gender stereotyping which constrains people from who they actually are as they feel they need to perform certain gender roles? Men must like beer, women must like shoes.

What do you think? What is your favourite Heineken moment?

A disappointing advert for a disappointing beer. Deeply sexist claptrap.

This is a little bit sexist – but in the long run it's probably less sexist than most beer commercials… hmmm.

  4. True… thanks for commenting

  5. I love it. I don't care that its a stereotype. Sometimes stereotypes can be quite valuable.

I think it's taking the mickey out of both sexes, but in a very loving, joyful way. And it's just good fun!

A little bit sexist, but that never did anyone any harm, a brilliant advert all round
