Nokia 6500 Classic
I’ll no doubt get slated for this, but I hate this advert with a passion. Why? I have no idea, but this incenses me to the point of rage. Product out of context adverts usually float my boat, but this irritates me and I can’t quite work it out.
Perhaps its because what Nokia is essentially saying is that “the 6500 is like an art installation”. No, its not. Its a phone. Maybe its because this tells me nothing about the product, except that it makes sound, which I should hope anyway. Either way, I don’t like it at all. If Nokia had used a known song as the basis for the advert, then my view might be totally different, but they didn’t, and it sucks. So there.
