Absolutely Fabulous becomes AbFabUSA

Kristen Johnson, who starred in 3rd Rock From The Sun and Kathryn Hahn (Revolutionary Road) will play Patsy and Eddie and Ms Saunders will Exec produce the show that is being looked after by the Arrested Development creator Mitch Hurwitz and Eric and Kim Tannenbaum, who are behind Two-And-A-Half-Men.

What do you think? They look the part but is it too british to work – and in a time of economic meltdown will it ber pertinant?

Hmmm it will have to be changed so much that it will only be Ab Fab in name, Eddie and Patsy were very much of their time, the 90′s new age PR crew who would try anything mysitcal, spiritual, drug related to stay young and hip and it was mocking of a glamorous elite that currently doesnt exist.

But then I love Kathryn Hahn and they do look the part and really who am I to comment on the culture in another country possibly Flordia (I imagine thats where its set) is going through a similair time?
