Scary Porn Murder Blog(?)
Well, it was going to be a huge (and day late) post about Adaptation, but I couldn’t very well let this pass could I?
“A man who posted a blog detailing a fantasy kidnap, rape and murder of pop group Girls Aloud is being prosecuted. Darryn Walker, a 35-year-old civil servant, published a 12 page story called Girls (Scream) Aloud on a porn website. He is being prosecuted under the Obscene Publications Act, which is mostly used for pornography. It is one of the few times the Act has been for written words since Penguin was prosecuted for Lady Chatterley’s Lover.”Erm. On a side note this story nearly made an elderly lady inhale her own teeth on the bus this morning.
