The Great – Christian Bale’s secret identity
Now we all know that Batman is actually Bruce Wayne, but who knew that Christian Bale has a double-life as Kermit the frog? The irrefutable evidence on this link has had the most foolhardy detectives stumped. After all, have you ever seen Kermit at one of Christian Bale’s premieres??? exactly.
btw, pollyGs for the weird un-english type language that the site appears to be in.

The Bad – Starbucks tell their staff to leave taps running
Now onto the not so fun – whilst i’m not the most anti-starbucks person in the world, it does still unnerve me how much power they have over the thirsty/caffeine needy shopper. And now it comes to light that not only are they power hungry megalomaniacs, millimetres away from replacing the US senate, but they’re also wasteful, lazy and lacksadaisical (hey, I just bought a thesaurus, i’ve gotta get some usage out of it!) in their approach to the environment.
The Telegraph reported here that Starbucks employees are instructed to leave the cold taps running because to turn it off is against health and safety regulations. It goes on to say that the amount they’re wasting every day would be more than enough to sustain droughty Namibia.
boo starbucks, booo i say!
The Ugly – ‘Hercules’ crew could have been saved with adequate provision
Back in 2005, an RAF plane flying through Iraq was hit by enemy fire, and exploded. It shouldn’t have done, if the plane had been fitted with the standard ‘explosion suppressant foam’ that expands and seals the fuel tank against perforation, then there’s a good chance the crew would have survived. As it happens, 10 crewmen died.
The foam was developed in the 1960s, and has been succesfully integrated into a lot of new planes, and retrofitted in older planes, so there should’ve been no problem fitting it in this plane.
The reason that it wasn’t fitted was because it was expensive … because the RAF’s so poor…

The Queen – Transsexual student takes school to court over prom-dress
Kevin ‘K.K.’ Logan is a boy, but he dresses like a girl, and thats all well and good. KK has dressed like a girl on normal days at school, and had praise and power from his peers and school staff.
Now, in America, proms are a big deal – KK had picked out a dress and was all ready to stroll in and have the party of his high school life, when he was barred from entering. The heart-warming bit of the story is that KK’s fellow pupils found out what was happening and boycotted the prom with him and sat outside until KK left despondently.
Fast forward a bit and we’re in a courtroom, where the principal, Diana Rouse, has cited a “School Board Policy #319″ which disallows inappropriate clothing that signals sexual orientation. Now as far as i know, KK wasn’t trying to pull a Jodie Marsh by turning up in nothing but 3 belts, so where inappropriateness comes into, i could not tell you.
Anywho, this is all pretty recent (September 25th) so as soon as i find out the results of the federal hearing, i shall let the good people of yourface know, until then, fingers crossed.
