Itv is shit (updated)
When I heard that Pushing Daisies was going onto itv I did wonder what was going on? why are they trying to be channel 4? And I was a little annoyed that there may be a reason for me to watch itv which made me sad because I sort of enjoy my hatred of the channel for the working classes. And ta-da they have managed to screw it up, who ever is commissioning imports for itv needs to actually be shot or fired or replaced by some one who has more than one braincell and can do their job. After the fun thats been had with Bionic Woman which they bought for a stupid amount of money and has now been cancelled now Pushing Daisies.
ITV are not showing episode two. Not now not ever. When I heard this on radio one I thought ooooooOOOooooo there must be kinky sexy time which is far too shocking for th British public, but no. ITV have bought 8 episodes of the series instead of the 9 it runs for so have decided not to show the second episode. I hate them.
* Apparently I am a little wrong, all 9 episodes have been bought but they wont have tim to show them all before euro 2008. So instead of opening the season with a 2hour special or ending it with one (which is pretty normal practise) they are skipping episode 2 and wont show it till they repeat the series later in the year. So its not only the person in charge of importing that should be shot it is the scheduler as well.
