This week…

I feel like a lowly music fool, I planned the this week section to boost our music section and make it look as though we are all wise in the world of music however Alphabeat came into my life and have dominated. Decided that I would put my hatred of live sessions to the side and purchase some more of their tunes from the itunes live session and I love them even more and have spent this week singing ‘go go.’ I was Briefly distracted by Madonna and her new song until I realised it was shit. But I have MGMT sitting on my ipod to be listened to so I’m hoping they bring wonder into my ears

Apparently Madonna doesn’t have a video at the moment, she is too busy crawling up her own arse.

I have to say Madonna’s new track is exceptionally catchy and I really like it. The woman is quite possibly the most annoying women infront of a camera these days.. however, her poor vocals and age aside, she still manages to astonish me with the production of music that reflects the ‘zeitgeist’ of the musical industry, as of current. She knew that JT and Timbaland are hot stuff at the moment, where we see (hopefully) a slight decline in the pervasive and bland genre that is ‘Indie’, Madonna has latched on to this, and has produced a single, that is a branch of a product, that will no doubtedly do well (for many reasons). You have to admit, this ambitious bitch has guts and determination under her belt, and I salute her courage for diverging into a genre that she doesn’t know much about. Fool? Perhaps. A brave one though.

I think she has hooked herself onto a tired format by going down the R&B root, Timberland and JT were cool and had a musical point 3 whole years ago but by the time Timberland was producing Nelly Furtardos album he was becoming tired. After confessions on the dance floor Madonna has shown her self to be a lazy artist who no longer relies on her own art of self re creation and being a show girl and instead hopes that a producer will make the rest of her album sound good after her day of recording. When there are so many fresh new sounds coming out I think she has taken a step backwards.

I am sorely sorely dissapointed with Madonna at the moment! Her latest offering Hard Candy is just well…. SHIT! A few catchy tracks and that is it! Love all her work to date, even the critically despised Erotica & Bedtime Story era!

She is just vulgar at the moment flashing her crotch at everyone in sight in her videos! I mean luv you are 50! I have a ticket for her Sticky & Sweet tour in London might just sell it!

Give it 2 me! Yeah it’s ok like!
